The New York Jets just got another superstar.
Following weeks — or even months — of speculation, Davante Adams is finally reunited with Aaron Rodgers.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network broke the news early on Tuesday.

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before the news went viral, and the fans had a lot to say about this transaction.

Granted, the Jets’ offensive woes didn’t have much to do with a lack of talent.
Their wide receivers corps of Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, and Allen Lazard should’ve been more than capable of getting the job done.
Then again, you never pass on a chance to land a superstar like Adams whenever he becomes available.
The Jets looked better on offense with Todd Downing calling the plays instead of Nathaniel Hackett.
Of course, Rodgers will still have a green light to make changes at the line of scrimmage and call whatever he wants, but it was a sign of improvement.
His chemistry with Adams is well-known, and it’s always good to add another playmaker.
More than that, Adams arriving in the Big Apple could also be a sign of Rodgers staying there for at least another season, as there were rumors about him retiring after this season.
The Jets are still a work in progress, but with their remaining schedule, they should be right back in the mix for a playoff spot, even if their record after six weeks is far from encouraging or what was expected from them at this point.
