The Denver Nuggets are already one of the best teams in the NBA but they have every intention of getting better.

That means they want to foster the young talent they already have so they can be the superstars of tomorrow.

Because of that, the Nuggets announced three important signings on Thursday morning.

The team revealed they had exercised the fourth-year options for both Christian Braun and Peyton Watson while also enacting the third-year option for Julian Strawther.

You may not be seeing much of Watson and Strawther in the new season but you will surely get to witness a lot more of Braun.

He has spent two seasons with the Nuggets and has shown his worth repeatedly.

Right off the bat, Braun played his heart out and was part of Denver’s championship run in his rookie season.

The 23-year-old player is going to get even more opportunities in the new season because of some roster changes.

He has started in 10 games over his first two seasons but most people expect him to be part of the starting five more often in 2024-25.

The Nuggets are emphasizing internal development with these signings.

They already have a few of the biggest names in the game, including consistent MVP contender Nikola Jokic, but they want to nurture the young stars on the team.

This is a smart move for a number of reasons, partly because it saves them money and lays the groundwork for a bright future.

The Nuggets are doubling down on their roster and expecting big things in the new season.
