Martha’s revisiting of her marriage to Andrew in her new documentary recently sparked a reaction from her former husband and his wife, Shyla.

In the documentary, Martha accused Andrew of having “quite a few girlfriends” when they were married and claimed that she found it difficult to walk away, per Page Six.

The remark and many more Martha made didn’t sit well with Shyla and Andrew, and they took to Facebook to accuse the TV personality of relitigating the failed marriage.

“While Andy quietly moved on and forward with his life, it appears that Martha continues to publicly relitigate the marriage, including comments in a sensationalized trailer for an upcoming documentary on Netflix,” read a part of the post made by Shyla on behalf of herself and Andrew.

Shyla also described Andrew’s marriage to Martha as “painful and abusive” compared to the “joy-filled and purpose-led” version he now shares with her.

She concluded the post, “We both wish everyone, including Martha herself, the experience of loving and being loved deeply and fully, and the peace that comes from such a love.”

In the comment section of Shyla’s post, several social media users shared the same sentiments Shyla made in the post.

One person wrote, “Beautifully said Shyla. I am so sorry that some people are so self-absorbed & can’t resist the sensationalism she obviously still craves. I’m sad she had to go down that road. Andy truly is a sweetheart of a man!!!!”

Another commented, “Just saw that trailer and whoowee, she is one bitter lady. It’s a pretty cheap grab for her documentary and, as always, your articulate post puts it all in perspective. So glad you & Andy found each other.”

A third Facebook user said, “Some people change and improve their lives, loves, and spirits. Some do not. I’m so glad you two have this abiding love in your life.”

One more person shared, “It’s unfortunate that Martha feels the need to distort reality to suit her own agenda. Her hurtful actions are a reflection of her personal struggles, not a testament to Andy’s character. I’ve always known Andy for his kind and gentle nature, as I’m sure so many others have.”
